ABout our school tours:

Each tour is developed to meet Illinois State learning goals and standards for grades K-12

  • FAM docents are trained to emphasize age-appropriate concepts and to encourage object-based learning.

  • Teachers have the option of adding a hands-on activity related to the guided tour for an additional cost. 

Cost:
The cost of guided tours is $1.00 per person. A related Hands-On Workshop can be added for $3.00 per person. Scholarship information is available by request.

    This tour provides students with a wide variety of activities that introduce them to the Golden Section or Ratio as the mathematical expression of the ideal proportion in Greek and Egyptian art.

  • Recommended for 4th-6th grade -

    This tour provides students with a wide variety of activities that introduce them to the Near and Far East Gallery with a focus on Japan and China
